This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone using the Buddi platform — members, stores, and drivers — and sets out the standards we expect.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to hold a Buddi account. Accounts found to belong to anyone underage are suspended immediately.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use Buddi to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information at signup or at any point while using the platform
- Purchase, sell, or facilitate the purchase or sale of anything outside the bounds of applicable South African law
- Harass, threaten, or abuse any member, store, driver, or Buddi staff member
- Attempt to circumvent, tamper with, or misuse the platform’s verification, payment, or order systems
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair Buddi’s services
Store obligations
Partner stores agree to accurately represent their products and stock availability, fulfil accepted orders in good faith, and comply with all applicable South African laws relating to the products they sell.
Enforcement
Buddi may suspend or terminate any account — member, store, or driver — found in breach of this policy, with or without notice, at our discretion.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Buddi after an update constitutes acceptance of it.
